Eunice is the Legal and Corporate Affairs Manager at the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA), A seasoned Senior Climate Change Negotiator and Executive leader in international environmental law, climate governance, and multilateral treaty compliance with over 12 years of experience shaping legal frameworks and implementing global environmental agreements. Holds a remarkable background of contributing to advancing the Paris Agreement through direct involvement and service on different committees, such as the Paris Agreement Implementation and Compliance Committee (PAICC) and the Appeals and grievance handling under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change(UNFCCC)
Back home, Eunice has spearheaded the enforcement and compliance of environmental laws, backstopped regulatory development, provided legal advisory, and participated in the negotiation of key environmental agreements, including the UNFCCC, Minamata Convention, and the Montreal Protocol on Ozone Depleting Substances. She is Proficient in developing legal and regulatory systems, integrating environmental integrity with national development priorities and global frameworks such as NDCs and the SDGs, and most importantly, she supports the Board functionality of NEMA
At the community Level, Eunice is the Board Chairperson of Peerlink Initiatives, a non-governmental organization whose purpose is to contribute to efforts to revive a reading culture and empower women and youth to succeed in their communities.
