Kajoina Jemima Engelite is a seasoned Advocate of the High Court of Uganda with eight (8) years of professional experience. She currently serves as a Legal Officer at Uganda Wildlife Authority, where she represents the Authority in all matters before the Courts of law.

In her role, Jemima plays a pivotal part in governance and organizational management as the Minute Secretary for two Board Committees and the Top Management team. In this role, Jemima plays a critical part in supporting decision-making and governance, ensuring that the outcomes of Board and Management deliberations are accurately captured and strategically communicated. She has developed systems that streamline documentation and follow-up, enabling the timely implementation of decisions and organizational accountability.

Prior to her enrollment as an advocate, Jemima served as a Prosecutor in the Standards, Wildlife, and Utilities Court, where she developed strong advocacy skills and gained extensive expertise in criminal law. This experience also deepened her understanding of environmental and wildlife conservation issues, which continue to inform her legal practice today.

Jemima is recognized for being results-oriented, resilient, and persistent, with exceptional communication, active listening, and legal research skills. Her dual role as Legal Officer and Minute Secretary has strengthened her adaptability and strategic thinking, enabling her to navigate complex legal and organizational challenges effectively.

She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre (2018) and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B), 2nd Class Upper Division, from Uganda Pentecostal University.
