The Capital Markets Authority (CMA) is proud to join as co-host of the 4th edition of the Corporate Run, marking its 30th anniversary with a meaningful contribution to maternal health in Uganda.
Under the theme “A Run for Maternal Health, A Run for Expectant Mothers,” the partnership reflects CMA’s commitment to investing not only in Uganda’s capital markets, but also in the wellbeing of the people who drive the nation’s economy.
The Corporate Run 2026 will take place on Sunday, 11 October 2026, at 6:00 a.m. at the NEC Grounds in Bugolobi, Kampala. Participants can choose from 15 km, 10 km and 5 km race distances, with a special 3 km walk reserved for company Chief Executive Officers.
This year’s goal is to raise funds for 5,000 mama kits to be distributed to health centres across the country, particularly in underserved communities.
Each running kit is priced at Shs 30,000, with all proceeds going directly toward the purchase of mama kits. Kits can be purchased via MTN Mobile Money, Airtel Money, or the official online registration platform on corporategamesug.com.
Ms. Lyn Tukei, Communications and Public Relations Manager at the Capital Markets Authority, said the decision to co-host the Corporate Run was a deliberate expression of CMA’s values:
“As we mark 30 years of building Uganda’s capital markets, we chose to celebrate by looking outward. Supporting mothers and protecting lives is the most meaningful way for us to give back. Investing in people, starting with the safety of expectant mothers, is the truest form of capital.”
Corporate Run Chairman Mr. Ian Rumanyika welcomed CMA’s partnership:

The event is supported by a strong coalition of partners including the Deposit Protection Fund of Uganda, Uganda Baati, Rwenzori, BetPawa, Uganda Tourism Board, Uganda Airlines, the National Lotteries and Gaming Regulatory Board, the Private Sector Foundation Uganda, the Ministry of Health, Ruby Hospital, Uganda Athletics, the Human Resource Managers’ Association of Uganda, and the Kampala City Traders Association, among others.
