Grace Nandawula, The Marketing Strategist Joins Journey to the Boardroom

Grace Nandawula’s purpose in life is to bring a smile to young girls by inspiring them to believe that they can achieve more than what society expects from them. Through her dedication and example, she aims to empower the next generation to pursue their dreams fearlessly and confidently.

Grace Nandawula is a skilled Chartered Marketer with a wealth of experience in marketing and project management. She is known for her ability to lead projects from start to finish and for her expertise in understanding customers, developing products, and creating marketing strategies that help companies grow.

In her current role as Customer Strategy & Planning Lead for Uganda, Grace focuses on defining commercial plans, channel prioritization & resource allocation to drive category growth and market execution. She develops category growth strategies and aligns them with commercial plans while driving channel/ customer prioritization and influence dynamic commercial funding decisions. She also leads the pricing, and promotions mix by defining pricing strategies, and establish execution standards at category, brand and customer level.

Grace has held several key positions, including Category Manager Nutrition in Uganda, where she led successful marketing campaigns. Prior to that role she held regional marketing roles working on projects in across East and West Africa, and is behind key campaigns which includes the “Knorr schools’ program in Ethiopia and award-winning ads”. Corvid birth a new way of working which is agile and Grace used that platform to explore and expand her marketing expertise by working on two big global brands in Unilever Italy and Canada.

Grace holds an MBA from the University of Nicosia, Cyprus, a postgraduate and professional diploma in marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing in the UK, and an Honors degree in Catering and Hotel Management from Makerere University Business School, Uganda.

Her work continues to make a positive impact in marketing and business development.
