In a dynamic meeting of minds at the Kati kati Restaurant during the December edition of the PR Fundi Masterclass held Wednesday last week, professionals in public relations and communications delved into the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in shaping and elevating PR practice, dissecting the topic, “How to Use Artificial Intelligence to Advance Public Relations Practice.”

The enlightening discussion was spearheaded by panelists Denis Nabende, the Manager PR and Corporate Affairs at Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB), Star Leo’s Director Nada Andersen and  Uganda Communications Commission’s (UCC) Head Public and Internal Relations, Rebecca Mukite, with Ian Rumanyika, the Team Leader at Node Group, expertly moderating the engaging dialogue.

The PR Fundi Masterclass series has emerged as a thought leadership platform, providing a space for industry experts to converge and exchange insights on cutting-edge trends. The PR Fundi brand, the brainchild of Node Group, has been at the forefront of promoting excellence in public relations and communications.

The December edition was no exception, as it focused on unraveling the symbiotic relationship between AI and the ever-evolving landscape of public relations.

Node Group’s commitment to fostering innovation and thought leadership within the industry was evident in the curation of this insightful masterclass.

Nabende shared his perspectives on the integration of AI technologies in PR strategies. Nabende emphasized how AI can streamline processes, enhance data analysis, and provide valuable insights that contribute to more effective communication strategies. His practical insights into leveraging AI tools showcased the transformative potential for the PR industry.
